Simon Christ and Julia Käsehagen attended the Third Infinity Conference at the MPI in Göttingen. This biennial conference focuses on the physics of biological and complex systems. Simon Christ presented the julia package OCTOPOS.jl in a flash talk and with a poster. OCTOPOS.jl can be used for codon optimization on mRNA sequences. Julia Käsehagen presented her PhD project Theoretical Modelling of Translation Elongation in human Mitochondria in a 15 minute talk.
