On June 23 and 24, members of our institute will be at the Faculty of Natural Sciences booth of Leibniz University Hannover at the IdeenExpo.
On June 23, the Biofabrication division will showcase the journey from a stem cell to tissue—step by step, just like in the lab. At our booth, you can play through the cell culture process and learn how modern 3D cell culture technologies work. Discover why engineered tissues are so important for drug development and disease research.
June 24 puts our collaborative project Matrix Evolution in the spotlight: Dance a matrix protein! On our dance mat, you control a computer game with your feet: step on the letters A, C, G, and T in the right order and help the “ribosome” build extracellular matrix proteins from DNA sequences. Afterwards, explore why and how these proteins can be used to create not only a “home for cells” but also bubble tea.
