The collaborative research project Matrix Evolution invites you to the first annual symposium on 10.12.2025 in the Royal Stalls of Leibniz University Hannover.

The Matrix Evolution research consortium in Hannover is dedicated to unraveling the complexity of the matrix, from macroscopic levels down to microscopic and molecular nanoscales. Our mission is to recreate this intricate system in the lab, gaining fundamental insights into the matrix's in health and disease, which will pave the way for innovations in tissue engineering and implant research. We are also committed to supporting women in science and are delighted to welcome four distinguished female speakers to our inaugural symposium:

Prof. Dr. Dorothea Brüggemann (City University of Applied Sciences Bremen)
Prof. Dr. Karen Bieback (University Medical Center Mannheim)
Prof. Dr. Birgit Glasmacher (Leibniz University Hannover)
Prof. Dr. Frauke Alves (Max Planck Institute for Multidisciplinary Sciences,
University Medical Center Göttingen)

The event will also be platforming the newest developments from our consortium, and give the opportunity to workshop on "science communications" skills.

We are especially looking forward to registrations from young scientists. Register until November 15th 2025 here.
