We are pleased to announce the publication of our article "A parallelized, perfused 3D triculture model of leukemia for in vitro drug testing of chemotherapeutics" in "Biofabrication".
In our article, we present a new 3D triculture model of leukemia, which i.a. allows parallelized analysis of chemotherapeutics. The combination of malignant cells as well as of healthy hematopoietic and mesenchymal stem cells in a 3D triculture mimics the leukemic bone marrow and allows assessing effectivity and hematotoxicity of chemotherapeutics at the same time. Our new 3D model is also promising for the establishment of disease models in personalized medicine.
